The Harshest Winter

God knew we would struggle with anxiety.

He knew all we would be facing. None of it is a surprise to Him. Maybe you are a Christ-follower, and you are feeling anxious about your anxiety. Maybe you thought it was wrong to feel that way, and you feel guilty, which brings even more anxiety. Well, you should know that God tells us around 365 not to fear (be anxious), and He was giving us a weapon to use against it. He knew we would need it, and He’s not mad at us for it.

Satan is battling for our hearts and minds. Do not allow him steal your peace.

Our weapon is God’s word. If we read it and believe what it’s saying, it can help relieve some of that anxiety. We can’t just read it once in a while. We’ve got to meditate on it. Allow it to saturate every part of our minds. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Stay in constant communication with Him (pray without ceasing), and you’ll be surprised by how much peace you find.

We are in a difficult season. God knows. He will get you through it. “...Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)
